You’ve heard the rumors; and now it’s official!  It’s time to VOTE for Girl Scouts CEO, Jax Rains-Turk, as she Dances with our Community Stars at the 17th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival on Sunday, July 25th, to raise awareness and funding for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

And, help us raise $16,000 for Girl Scout programming and scholarships throughout the council:  $1 = 1 VOTE for the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD.  Girl Scouts is one of six worthy non-profit contestants. Our Girl Scout council has over 15,000 members -- we can do this!  

Jax will be dancing with professional Salsa dancer, Jesse "Chuy" Rodriguez, and is starting the voting with a $250 donation.  Please join her in fundraising for Girl Scouts!

Date to be Announced: Summer Salsa Celebration at Casa Lopez, 325 S. "A" Street, Oxnard -- $25/person; $10 goes to Girl Scouts.  This dance celebration will spotlight the professional dancers who support this incredible event. And, you won't want to miss the community Salsa dance lessons and dancing planned for this evening!

July 25th:  The Big Show, 1:00 p.m., 17th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival.  A limited number of 20 tables of six, under shade, are available near the dance floor on a first-come, first-served basis beginning in late June for $250/table.  Reserve your table to support Girl Scouts at www.oxnardsalsafestival.com. Tables are sold by day. Festival admission and parking is free. Main stage seating is also free on a first come, first served basis.
